Facebook Graph Search! What is new?

Hi, I activated the new service from Facebook called Graph Search, yesterday. So, what are my feelings and impressions? I'll try to give you this great service to describe in a few paragraphs.

1. Graph Search will be activated sequentially

I think it is not yet fully available in Europe. I do not know the reason for it but I have been active. Of course, gradually activated for all will come, so that you should not be surprised.

2. What is new?

Every time Facebook changes something, it tends to an event that significantly changes the whole interface. Now it does not. Graph Search only changing the top panel, where the logo of Facebook was used. It is now gone and instead the search bar.

That's all. On Facebook it is everything the old fashioned way. Disappeared long logo and replaced it with a small icon. Disappeared classic search and replace search by Graph Search.

3. Graph Search: amazing or not?

I think it's Graph Search the best they could do in Facebook. It's fast, it looks for relevant results not only on Facebook but also on the web. For web search is used Bing. This is not good news for people in countries where people do not speak good English. Because Bing is in the case with other language rather stupid. But in English works great! Let's check new functions!

When you click in the search box, you will be automatically displayed assistant.

You can choose one of the options, example: Photos of my friends (this will show you random photos of your friends)

..or you can make your search more specific, example: Photos of my friends with me (this menu shows you first assistant and then you can choose a phrase you're looking for. Or straight press Enter.)

after click on some phrase or press enter you can see photos with you and your friends

You can do it as well as more specific. It's up to you. You can view photos of friends who like Verdi. You can view the restaurants popular with your acquaintances. Well you can just deal with it and win, until you cease to entertain. But it is very useful...

At last you can search on the web! When you type a phrase you are looking for then assistant show your phrase with the icon: "Web Search". After click you are not redirected, you are still on Facebook.

And this will be displayed when I press enter.

4. Conclusion

I think Graph Search is absolutely revolutionary tool again to slightly more change internet. In this case, I dare say that Google will have to do something to maintain its dominant position in the search engines. In any case, should try it! It really is quite fun.
